Tools and equipment needed for removal will vary by model/year.
Discharge and evacuate the existing freon. Once evacuated, flush the system to remove old oil and contaminants.
Note → The evacuation of freon (R12 or R134a), must be done by a certified A/C shop as its chemicals are toxic and harmful to the environment. Always perform an evacuation/discharge in a well-ventilated area.
